Comments from the customers

1. Some New York counties are charging 90 dollars just to search for a will record. The known counties are:

Albany, Broome, Dutchess, Monroe, Oneida, Tioga, Chenango, Madison, St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Washington, Tompkins, Dutchess, Putnam (last two confirmed as of 8 Dec 2004). Any other counties of New York?

This is required by the New York state law - you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the page 2, "Fees for Certain Services."

The new rate was by the Surrogate Procedures Act (in Jul 2003)
