The Letter
This is specifically for those who continue to have paper copy orders.
Frankly, I do not comphrend those cutomers who don't want to switch from papercopy to the scanned images.
Don't you realize how much time is being spent to make paper copy of the records, taking away the time needed to index more records?
Even the time spent 45 to 1 hour waiting in the line at the Postal Service - the busiest station in town.
Just because Irfanview is free, does not mean it must be of lower quality. In fact, anyone who have and used Irfanview can attest to the fact it's superior to Microsoft's own Windows feature. The biggest feature - it will double the size of paper copy - you get to see smallest detail far better.
However, to satisfy those who do not want to give up the paper copy of the records....
The paper copy orders will continue - but only for the will records. No paper copy orders will be accepted for all other types of records.
That means Surrogate's Records, Letters Testamentary, Letters of Administration, Guardianships, NaturalizationRecords and (soon to be available) Miscellaneous Records will not be available in paper copy - due to sheer number of pages that have to be copied and higher postage cost to mail them.
However the cost HAS to go up for paper copy. The cost effective March 1st will be $20.00 per record. No discount for 4 or more. Always $20.00 per will record. The necessary updated order forms will be online at midnight Feb 29/March 1st. Postmark will be checked.
Sincerely,
W. David Samuelsen
